Ulm, 27th July 2010 - The Energy Corse kart team, sponsored by the German motor oil and additives specialist LIQUI MOLY, won twice the title of the European Champion.In Genk, Belgium, the forth and last station of the European Championship in the KF2 category (125 ccm, approx. 34 hp) Danish driver Nicolaj Moller-Madsen triumphed. The great heat was very demanding for man and machine. Moller-Madsen explained, it was his aim, on the one hand to get good results during the qualification heats and on the other hand at the same time to treat the kart with care in order to ensure it is able to deliver maximum performance during the long final race.
In the KZ2 category (125 ccm, approx. 41 hp) the Energy Corse drivers dominated the field right from the beginning and won three out of four races. Yan Pesce won the last race in Carennes sûr Allier, France. Regarding the overall results Paolo De Conto triumphed and became the second European Champion of Energy Corse.
